Assignment 14
If I got the chance to travel anywhere in the world with all expenses paid fully; I would definitely go to Poseidon Undersea Resort, Fiji, with my family.
This is an underwater hotel that only those that have a reservation can get in. To get there we would have to take a private plane from the company. Price starts at $15,000 per person for 2 nights in an underwater suite and 4 nights in a luxury beach or over-water villa.
This also includes scuba diving, piloting a 3 passenger mini submarine, access to all supplies for amenities, access to resort spa, wine testing, and meal and drinks.
This would be the most awesome, perfect getaway for my family and I. Just to get away from society, and relax. I know this isn't really going to happen, but this is the perfect example of where I would like to go. I want to be able to live this experience one day.

Using Your Brain
At a rural cabin, you get water from a well using only a 4-gallon bucket and a 9-gallon bucket. In a single trip from the well to the cabin, what whole number gallon amounts of water could you bring back to the cabin?
There are no markings on the pails. And, you can’t do any estimating or add any markings!
There are no markings on the pails. And, you can’t do any estimating or add any markings!
1- Fill up the 9 gallon bucket, then pour 4 gallons onto the 4 gallon bucket twice and what ever is left over has to be 1 gallon because you started with 9 gallons.
2- Fill up the 9 gallon bucket, then pour 4 gallons onto the 4 gallon bucket twice and what ever is left over has to be 1 gallon because you started with 9 gallons pour the 1 gallon onto the 4 gallon bucket. Then fill up the 9 gallon bucket again leaving you with 10 gallons. Then Fill whatever is left from the 4 gallon bucket leaving only 6 gallons on the 9 gallon bucket. Then fill up the 4 gallon bucket by pouring some out of the 9 gallon bucket then dump the 4 gallon bucket leaving you with 2 gallons.
3- Fill up the 4 gallon bucket and dump it in the 9 gallon bucket twice. Then fill up the 4 gallon bucket and fill up whatever is left to fill from the 9 gallon bucket then dump the 9 gallon bucket and whatever is left from the 4 gallon bucket is 3 gallons.
4- Fill up the 4 gallon bucket
5- Fill up the 9 gallon bucket. Pour 4 gallons into the 4 gallon bucket leaving 5 gallons in the 9 gallon bucket.
6- Fill up the 9 gallon bucket, then pour 4 gallons onto the 4 gallon bucket twice and what ever is left over has to be 1 gallon because you started with 9 gallons pour the 1 gallon onto the 4 gallon bucket. Then fill up the 9 gallon bucket again leaving you with 10 gallons. Then Fill whatever is left from the 4 gallon bucket leaving only 6 gallons on the 9 gallon bucket.
7- Fill up the 4 gallon bucket and dump it in the 9 gallon bucket twice. Then fill up the 4 gallon bucket and fill up whatever is left to fill from the 9 gallon bucket then dump the 9 gallon bucket and whatever is left from the 4 gallon bucket is 3 gallons. Transfer the 3 gallons from the 4 gallon bucket to the 9 gallon bucket then fill up the 4 gallon bucket and now you have 7 gallons
8- Fill up 4 gallon bucket then dump it to the 9 gallon bucket. Do this twice and that'll get you 8 gallons.
9- Fill up the 9-gallon bucket
10- Fill up the 9 gallon bucket, then pour 4 gallons onto the 4 gallon bucket twice and what ever is left over has to be 1 gallon because you started with 9 gallons. Then fill up the 9 gallon bucket again leaving you with 10 gallons
11- Fill up the 9 gallon bucket, then pour 4 gallons onto the 4 gallon bucket twice and what ever is left over has to be 1 gallon because you started with 9 gallons pour the 1 gallon onto the 4 gallon bucket. My Spring Break
During the nine days we had of Spring Break, I did a couple of interesting things. Like I really got to relax and sleep in without my parents having to bug me, because they were off working. The down side about my break however, was that during the weekdays I had to baby sit my sister until 3pm when my parents got home, but after that I was free to go out where ever and whenever I wanted.
The most exciting part of my break was when I took my car to get the windows tinted. I got them tinted because every time I get out of school and drive home, the sun is always hitting me directly in the face, and it burns! That's why I made the decision to take it to the shop and get it tinted so the sun heat won't get in the car so much and it'll stay cooler, and so far its been such a help.
Anyways besides the highlight of my car. Most of my free time was spent at my friend Ernie's house. Ernie is also a senior, but he's not at BackBay; he's at Newport Harbor. Most of the things we did at his house were play PS3, watch TV, chill, and or go play handball at OCC.
In conclusion break was fun and relaxing, but it sort of gets boring after half the week has gone by. This is just a quick review of some of the things I did over Spring Break.

My Dream School
If I could attend any school without money and admission tests having to be an obstacle, it would probably be Wyotech. Wyotech is an automotive themed school, which is why I would want to attend that school. Cars fascinate me in every way including how they look, how you can tune them up, and most of all they're performance. There is only 6 schools nation wide and offer degree, and certificate programs in different industries like: motorcycle, diesel, collision refinishing, and marine technology. This is the school I would most want to attend out of all the other prestige schools in the country.

Me In Five Years
In five years I see myself living in the city that I was born in; Morelia, Michoacan. Some of the reasons I want to move there is because it's such a beautiful place, and because my oldest brother Julio is currently over there.
First of all, in order to make this a reality I first have to finish high school and get my diploma so when I leave to Mexico it will be easier for me to find a decent job.
After graduating high school I plan on getting a job here so I will have some money in Mexico to support myself until I stabilize and find myself. When the day comes in December to pack my things and kiss my family goodbye will be the day I permanently become independent.
And finally, when I arrive in Morelia, Michoacan I plan on seeking a job as a hotel receptionist at el centro "The Heart" of Morelia. This is the place where all tourists arrive to see "La Cathedral" and vacation at. I know being a receptionist at a hotel is not what everyone dreams of becoming, but for a person who is bilingual is a major plus and pay way more. This is how I see myself in five years.
